IBREA Brain Tests
As part of its mission to take action in solving the global epidemic of mental issues and illness and, IBREA has developed a series of on-line tests measuring memory, attention, problem solving, spatial reasoning, and other brain functions under the scientific guidance of Dr. Elkhonon Goldberg, Clinical Professor of Neurology at NYU. As brain-testing technology today is only available to few and mainly in the developed world, we found it essential to make these tests available free of any linguistic or cultural barrier and also to bring them to developing countries.
The tests will allow Individuals to compare their scores with others based on a normative sample representing the population where it is applied. In the future, these neutrally constructed tests will be available in educational and work settings for clinicians, educators and other professionals as a diagnostic tool. The tests are currently available in English and Spanish, and will soon be available in French, Arabic, Chinese, Korean, Russian and Japanese. Normative samples are being carried out in Argentina, Russia and Japan.

SPECT Images

Neuropsychological tests are useful for establishing dysfunction but they are not always sufficient to implement a tailored treatment. Therefore the need arises to “look” at the brain and identify functional barriers to education. This is what Brain SPECT does! It takes a 3D picture of the brain showing colors that reflect the amount of blood flow/function in any given part of the brain.
In partnership with IBREA, Dr Pavel, from the Neuroscience center in Deerfield, IL, is using Brain SPECT to measure the impact of Brain Education on a group of individuals. SPECT images before and after 4 months of Brain Education training are already showing considerable positive effects including improvement in all the areas of hyper-function.
